Christine Quinn must be defeated and I believe Yetta is the woman to do so

I met Maria Passannante-Derr outside the debacle and sham of a debate hosted by The Villager and NYU and I thought she was beautiful, smart and to the point as she handed me the press release stating "The editors of The Villager and Gay City News, John Sutter and Paul Schindler admit this." Here is how I read her press release....That John Sutter and Paul Schindler gave out information about tickets -- basically inside info to Christine Quinn and Quinn alone rather than be fair and honest and treat all candidates the same. Please note I have dealt with John Sutter and Lincoln Anderson before and they refused to rectify erasing me from The Whole Earth Bakery and Kitchen Rally to fight eviction where I demanded community outreach resource centers in every mega dorm. NYU mega dormed the East Village to death. The Villager not only schills for NYU but they are beholden to NYU and the politicians that are all part of the gang. Do the math.

The kind of wheeling and dealing, corruption and cronyism is what we are up against and it is my belief NYU the mega real estate magnate, ruthless and destructive tearing down our historic buildings including St. Ann's from 1847, 120 East 12th Street next door from where I lived for 20 years...was at it again in cohoots with John Sutter and his newspapers...business as usual because John "air space" Sutter wants Quinn, Mike Bloomberg's mini-me, in office so bravo for Passante-Derr for exposing what we all felt to be true.

We need all those that flushed democracy down the toilet voted out! I wish we could impeach them.

This is the dishonor role of shame and these people must go. Add to this that this city council has been mired in corruption and conflicts of interest whether or not "the conflict of interest board" wants to do it's job or not.

I wish we could morph Passannante-Derr and Yetta in to one person but we can't so I have pick Yetta. I believe Yetta's experience as a lawyer and gay activist are an asset. I am straight but over the years I have been gay bashed out on the streets here in NYC even having men cock their fists to punch me in the face so I feel Yetta can tackle issues like this as well as putting the people of New York before greedy community crushing developers like NYU. I hope I am right.

I wish that Passannante-Derr would step down but not because I have any doubts that she would be a passionate fighter for the people but by stepping down I believe she makes a sacrifice for the greater good and we can win back our City!

We must "Dump Quinn", a Bloomberg puppet; Quinn is a sell out.

If Passannante-Derr does not step down, the votes will be split and Ms. Slushgate Quinn will be in like Errol Flynn at City Hall yet again.

You can see the power has gone to Christine Quinn's head. We can see how power corrupts both at City Hall and Albany.

There has been a lot of damage done including mass evictions from entire buildings to entire neighborhoods like Manhattanville for Columbia University.

We must get real people, humble people that will represent the people back in office and restore faith.

Please Maria Passannante-Derr, you beautiful passionate, smart strong woman, make the sacrifice and step down because by doing so I believe Quinn will be defeated but if you don't, you will not succeed in defeating Christine Quinn but you will help her and the Bloomberg administration continue to "rule" this city and they do for their developer friends and the push out will continue. There is so much damage from Albany and corruption at City Hall we can't stop the bleeding overnight but the only way we can begin to heal is get Christine Quinn and gang out of office.

Quinn must go.
